Beyond the Fabric: A Journey to Green Island, Taiwan

Travelling to lush and vibrant Green Island in Taiwan felt like stepping into a paradise filled with laughter, ocean breezes, and a carefree spirit. Everywhere I looked, sun-kissed locals donned T-shirts with island's landscape and charming marine life, each one a testament to the love for adventure and the celebration of freedom.

It was here that I experienced diving for the first time, swimming alongside graceful sea turtles and thousand kinds of fish. The tranquility of watching them glide effortlessly beneath the water captivated me, igniting a passion to create a T-shirt that reflects not only a sense of wonder and exploration but also positive attributes like bravery and the courage to take risks.

On my third day, I met an incredible girl from New Zealand who surprised me with her fluent Chinese. Her stories reminded me of my own year spent in New Zealand on a working holiday, a time filled with exploration and self-discovery. She had been traveling around Taiwan for nearly two years and had spent the last two months on this island. I was particularly touched to learn that she had her own bike, given to her by a local New Zealander, a beautiful symbol of the connections we forge while traveling.

This is the view outside the ferry ticket office where we met, both of us were here for rescheduling.

Her tales of frugal travel were eye-opening- she had never paid for accommodation! With her trusty tent in tow, she camped wherever she found a spot, even asking local schools for permission to stay overnight. I was astonished when she told me that the most beautiful school welcomed her with open arms.

Even though our time together was short, it reminded me that the world is full of unexpected connections. We may not meet again, but we can always learn something valuable from the people we encounter along our journeys. Her adventurous spirit and resourcefulness inspired me even more, reinforcing the idea that travel is about the connections we make, the bravery we show, and the stories we share.

This journey reminded me that my brand is more than just T-shirts; it's about celebrating the spirit of adventure, embracing freedom and encouraging others to chase their dreams.
